*Cake Tasting Opportunities*

Jamie Bakes is currently not offering tastings other than at Open House events where we are a preferred vendor.  As a custom to-order baker with no storefront, arranging private tastings is just not possible right now.  We can assure you--we make good cake! Just ask anyone! Be sure to read our testimonials! 

Flavor List

Step #1 : Pick the flavors

Classic Flavors:

  • White Wedding: traditional vanilla wedding cake with a hint of almond

  • Yellow Butter: old fashioned yellow cake with vanilla and BUTTER!

  • Red Velvet: southern-styled rich, cocoa-based cake made with buttermilk

  • Confetti: White or Yellow cake with tons of colorful sprinkles

  • Chocolate: rich Devil’s Food cake full of mini chocolate chips

  • Strawberry: strawberry infused vanilla cake, topped with homemade jam

  • Lemon Chiffon: light & fluffy Lemon cake, topped with homemade lemon curd

  • Key Lime: lime infused Vanilla cake, topped with a tart Key Lime curd

  • Spice Cake: a buttery vanilla cake full of sweet spices and thoughts of Fall--think Carrot Cake without the carrots & nuts!​

*All CLASSIC cakes/cupcakes come standard with VANILLA BUTTERCREAM.*

*Cream Cheese & Chocolate Buttercream are available for an upcharge fee based on cake size.*

Deluxe Flavors:

Feel free to “build your own” custom flavor! Or choose an idea listed below. Flavor choices not limited to those listed.

  • Lemon Blueberry & Lavender: a light lemon cake baked full of blueberries, infused in a lavender  syrup, topped with vanilla buttercream drizzled in MORE lavender syrup.

  • Cookies & Cream: a vanilla or chocolate cake base with crumbles of your favorite cookie baked inside, topped with vanilla buttercream full of cookie crumbles, topped with MORE cookies!

  • Salted Caramel: a vanilla cake base infused with a buttery caramel sauce, topped with vanilla buttercream drizzled in gooey caramel, kissed with flakes sea salt!

  • Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup: candy overload! Candy crumbles baked in a vanilla or chocolate cake base, topped in peanut butter buttercream, chocolate drizzle and MORE Reece’s crumbles!

  • Mocha-Choca-Latte: rich Devil’s Food cake infused with espresso & cream, topped with a chocolate drizzle and a sprinkle of cocoa.

  • Praline Pecan: a buttery cake base full of toasted pecan and brown sugar praline pieces. Topped with more of the same over a swirl of vanilla buttercream.

  • Toasted Coconut: a buttery vanilla cake base full of toasted coconut and coconut cream.Topped with vanilla buttercream and a shower of toasted coconut!

Pricing

For non-wedding events (birthdays, anniversaries, corporate orders):

Cupcakes:

​Our cupcake batch yields 24 cupcakes, so they are available in groups of 2 dozen per flavor.

  • There is a 4 dozen minimum order requirement for all cupcakes.

  • Classic & Deluxe flavor cupcakes are priced per dozen.

  • Vanilla buttercream is standard on all cupcakes unless noted in the flavor options.

  • There is an upcharge for Cream Cheese & Chocolate buttercream per dozen.  

  • Delivery is available for a fee, based on distance from the bakery.

Special Event Cakes (birthday, anniversaries):

  • Cake servings vary in size based on the who does the cutting. 

  • When calculating the cake size needed,  keep that in mind that a "celebration" cake serving size is much different that a 'wedding cake' serving.  The US standard for wedding cake servings is a 2" x 1" slice. This is very small, so you need to plan accordingly. More cake is better than not enough!

  • All the diagrams and drawings of cakes shown above reflect wedding cake serving sizes.

For weddings:​

  • There is a 6 dozen minimum order requirement for any order to be delivered by Jamie Bakes.

  • Cupcakes are provided in groups of 24 per flavor. (For 6 dozen, you can get 3 flavor choices.)​

  • Cupcakes are priced per serving in Classic or Deluxe flavors.

**Please note:

I only work in round cakes.

I do not make sheet cakes, novelty children's birthday cakes, square cakes or rectangles. Groom's cakes are available but not in a novelty theme that requires fondant or molding chocolate. (So, no fish or race cars unless I can purchase items on-line to place on the cake.**

Tablescape Services

If you need someone to take care of your dessert table, you're in luck!

Jamie Bakes offers a deluxe TABLESCAPE service to select venues which includes the following:

  • Cake & cupcake display rental in natural wood, black, white, gold, or glass.

  • Chiffon fabric table runners in assorted colors

  • Lanterns, crates, candles, & fairy lights as well as other whimsical decorations to create a fairytale dessert table

  • Table set-up and breakdown after the reception.​

This service is $100.

This service is available for the following venues only:

  • Juliette Chapel

  • Cold Creek Farm

  • Blue Mountain Vineyard

  • Wolf Mountain Winery

  • Vezalay

  • Swan Lake Overlook

  • Wimpy Farm

Lilly Creek Farm provides their own table displays & decorations, so there is no fee for set-up.

​

If you do not require a tablescape service, Jamie can supply you with up to 5 clear acrylic, disposable trays to serve your cupcakes on. You must arrange this with Jamie prior to delivery.

Delivery Options

Jamie Bakes offers free delivery to venues where she is listed as a Preferred Vendor. All other venue deliveries will incur a delivery fee based on distance.

​

Customer pick-ups are available, but are not suggested for large orders, or multi-tiered cakes. Jamie has the right containers to ensure a safe delivery of product to the venue. 

If you opt for no delivery service, then you assume responsibility for the baked goods.
