"To be honest, 'Jamie Bakes' started out as an idea after I created my YouTube channel called, 'Jamie, teach me to cook!' I had people reaching out to me asking if I could make cakes. I'm no stranger to the world of cake, and the idea appealed to me very much! So, I started baking! I found my passion, my niche in the world, and my little cakery was up and running OFFICIALLY in February of 2022. To my potential wedding clients who ask about CAKE TASTINGS:
" I am so honored to be considered for your big day. And I totally understand that the CAKE is a very important part of the wedding! With that being said, I feel it necessary to say upfront that I do not offer "traditional cake tastings." I don't have a storefront, and everything is baked to order, so it makes it difficult to be able to offer tastings upon request. I like to use the Open House events at venues where I'm a preferred vendor as my opportunity to offer samples to clients. These events are offered several times a year among the different venues. If you can't make it to one of the events, then I'm willing to work with you if a tasting is a requirement, but understand it is at my convenience due to tight scheduling. Tastings are free at Open House events. A scheduled tasting appointment requires a fee."
